Bio Technology

1) What kind of technology is being discussed?
- They introduce the Artificial Hand and discussed about the use of it. There are many dangers and benefits while using it. Basically, this is an alternative robot hand for people with paralyze hand and they cannot use it anymore, Artificial hand will be a possibility.
2) What are the benefits of this technology?
+ It can twist 360 degrees.
+ Connect to human brain so it is very easy to use, just like a normal hand.
3) What are the dangers?
+ It cannot hold too heavy things.
+ It is not as flexible.
+ Since it is robotic, it may get some problem and suddenly doesn't work anymore.
4) Are there any ethical problems with this technology?
-  If Artificial Hand gets more advance, this is a great danger for people because when it gets to the point that it is better then human hand, everyone will want an operation to have the artificial hand instead of their natural hand. And then the world will be full of people having some kind of artificial technology inside their body.

Future Transportation

There are many predictions about future transportation but as I view the world of the future, about ten to fifteen years later, we would have flying cars. This ideas has been developed a lot lately but no one actually build this yet. The future flying cars help us to go faster. The sky would be darken because instead of traffic jams on the ground, there are tons of cars flying off the sky. Flying cars is a new foot step for transportation technology because it's all about sustainable, convenient and cheap prize. Still on the ground, people still use motorbikes and normal cars but they will be reduce because they are unsustainable. Under the ground, subways are getting better. They actually runs without a railroad. Ships become more advance when they are the combination between normal ship and submarine. They call it shipmarine. In the far far away future, we would use teleports and there will be no need for any cars and bikes and motorbikes and stuffs. Us human focus on the sustainability in the future more than the speed because we have achieve the high speed already. They help us to save our time and save the economy.

Tien Ho: Xin Chao, my name is Tien and I live in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam. I am in eighth grade of AIS middle school and today I will talk to you about my hometown, Nha Trang, 14876 kilometers away from Washington DC.

Tien Ho: Nha Trang is a beautiful city. It is famous for nice beaches and friendly people. Every year, we attract about 1. 4 - 1. 5 millions tourists from all different countries. To have tourists come to Nha Trang, we need entertainment. There are many nice places in Nha Trang that you can visit to have fun like Vinpearland, the biggest man-made island in Vietnam.

Tien Ho: Po Nagar Cham tower is a Buddhism pagoda. This has been here since the Cham people, which is the native people here, before the Vietnamese. Phu Dong park is a very popular park in Nha Trang with many games. Surrounded Nha Trang are many smaller islands.  There are many ways you can get to other island across the sea example like canoes and ships.

Tien Ho: The food here is great. There are many bars, cafes and good seafood restaurant everywhere in Nha Trang. At night, the whole city falls into its enchanted light. I was raise in Nha Trang and now, even when I am in another city, I still love it there.

Write 1 paragraph about your favorite memory from Cat Tien

Every moments in Cat Tien are memorable but there is one favorite moment that I want to remember for forever and always is the night when my bus, which is bus one went on safari night. It was the last Thursday night. At eight o'clock, we got on a jeep. I sat next to Sarryna. We both were very excited cause we had never been on a big jeep before, just the small one and now we were going with a large group of our friend. It was a cool night. We were able to see a lot of deers, an owl, some wild cats and a boar. I think my bus was having a lot of fun. We joked around and a lot of boys in my group made very hilarious jokes.After that, we came back to where we stayed and had camp fire as usual with roasted marshmallows. This would be the best trip I have so far. Thanks to AIS.

Evaluation

White Space - I use lots of spaces but I also left some white spaces out so it won’t confuse  eyes of viewers. Also in poster, my white spaces make viewers want to read more because my poster seem to be uncomplicated to read and less things amaze people to read it. 

Focal Point - Different people have different focal point. Like me, if I look in my poster, what I can see is the big clear title that written “Vanilla Hills”. I hope this is also what the viewers see because what they should able to notice first is the location “Vanilla Hills”

Fantastic Font - Fonts is actually pretty important because it will stun people’s eyes. I change my font to be more interesting and it did a really good job. My whole poster look more fitful for children and teenagers. 

Display Balance - It is not a well organize when you put every texts and images on the left side and make it totally blank on the right side of a poster. Everything have to be balance. I didn’t make both of my side identically the same but I didn’t make it absolutely different either. I used same tone of color and I mostly used cool color. When I put a lively image on the top of the poster, there will be another colorful image underneath the poster, near to the end. I try to do these because I want to achieve the balance on my poster.

Simple is nice - I would like my poster to be simple so I made it simple. Complicated poster make it look cool but to complicated poster is going to perplex and especially for children and other ages, simple is nice. My poster was colorful but we can easily find the information we want just by looking at the poster. Also my poster include every necessary bit of information customers want.

My holiday

Christmas in Vietnam doesn't like any other Christmas. In America, this is the perfect time for family members to gather around and have a one day fun together. In Vietnam. we still decorate for Christmas because it's the day Jesus Christ was born. My family doesn't celebrate this day. We are not Christians either. But this year holiday was amazing. On Christmas Eve, we went to eat breakfast outside and all went to shopping and visited famous places in Ho Chi Minh. This was probably the most surprise thing ever that happen to me in this holiday. My parents usually busy and we hardly go out. Individuals do their own work and we don't go out together. On Christmas, 25/12, we went to movies and at night, my mother cooked the most delicious meal I have ever eat and then we went out for Karaoke. After we got back home, everyone was too tired to do anything else so we decided to head off to bed. On 26/12 morning, I waked up and see presents right next to me and the next second, my mother came by and started to say: "Merry Christmas, dear". At that moment, I didn't know what to say and froze for a while. At last, I was just keep saying wow and wow because there was no word that can describe my feeling perfectly. And then, my tears came out because I was finally realize how much hard works did my parents put on to have enough money that can afford my school fees and everything else. It was making a big heart tender in me.
